Not sure how this will work? Here's the plan so far. We're going to start by getting you thinking about topics you are interested in talking about (whether or not you can lead the discussion -- doesn't matter!) We're gathering those ideas on the topics page. At the beginning of the unconference, there will be time to add, remove and discuss ideas. To determine which ideas will actually turn into sessions that will run, everyone in attendance will be able to vote on the sessions they'd most like to see happen. Majority rules!
Want more information? Here are several ideas for having a successful unconference.
We are leaning towards having brief presentations on selected topics, followed by breakout sessions/discussion groups. But we're not locked into that! Are there other models that you would like to see? These can be in addition to or instead of the model described. Here are some ideas for different types of formats for the sessions.
Should we have an electronic component? If so, what should it look like? I am not sure there is a good way to have a live broadcast without increasing cost, but we might be able to use twitter, liveblogging and maybe some web conferencing tools. What do you think?
